§ 28-2. Oath of office.

Latest version.

Each person appointed or employed as chief of police or police officer (including temporary or special police) shall take and subscribe before some person authorized by law to administer oaths the oath of office required by N.C. Const. art. VI, § 7. The oath shall be filed with the city clerk.
