§ 21. Breach of bond by officers.

Latest version.

For any breach of his official bond by any officer of said city who is or may be required to give such bond, such officer shall be liable in an action on the same, in the name of said city, by said city, or any person aggrieved by such breach and each bond may without assignment be from time to time put in suit until the whole penalty thereof be recovered.
