§ 2. Corporate limits.

  • That the corporate limits of the said City of Shelby shall be hereafter defined and located as follows: All that territory covered by and included in the circle having as its center a point located in the center of the courthouse as now located and situated in said City of Shelby and made by a radius extending one and one-half (1½) miles in length from said center; that is, all that territory within a radius of one and one-half (1½) miles from the center of the present courthouse of the County of Cleveland.

Editor's note

Section 1 of chapter 91 of the Private Laws of 1925 amended the Charter by extending the corporate limits of the city from three-quarters of a mile to 1½ miles. The above corporate limits have been extended by ordinance, on file with the city records.
