§ 42-201. Authority to designate.

In accordance with Section 503 of the North Carolina State Fire Code (Fire Code), fire lanes are required within the city as set forth within this division. The fire marshal of the city, under the direction and supervision of the fire chief, shall be the responsible party and shall have authority to designate fire lanes necessary for fire apparatus accessibility within the city.
