§ 24-1. Housing code adopted.

Latest version.

The North Carolina Model Housing Code as revised and modified by the city, and each and every edition or revision of or supplement or amendment to such code which may be hereafter published, not otherwise inconsistent with the local revisions and modifications by the city, are adopted and incorporated as a part of this Code as fully as if set forth verbatim in this chapter. The provisions of such code shall regulate and define the lawful use, maintenance and occupancy of all dwellings, dwelling units and structures within the city.
